"You Are Seen" Vol. 2

Traveling with a Polaroid, taking pictures of people we find interesting and asking them to write down a message they would like to tell the world.

Our subjects, or “co-collaborators,” as we like to think of them, get to keep the Polaroid picture. In exchange, we get a phone photo of the subject, and their written message.

For this chapter of "You are Seen" we asked the women to write down a message on their Polaroid picture,

"what does it mean to be a woman in America?
